I know us dog lovers have been visiting the dog parks more frequently since the weather has been so beautiful!  So here is a tip I learned from Brian Willis founder of Gofetch & Barkalott...

Entering/Exiting a dog park

Most dog parks have double-gated entries.  Use this tip to help your dog trasition into the group of dogs already there.

-Check that the inside gate is cosed before opening the outside gate.

-Enter the holding pen and close the outside gate.

-Remove your dogs leash inside the  holding are.  This will reduce anxiety he/she may feel when being approached by off-leash dogs.

and then reverse this process when leaving!
