Five hundred dollars just for being cute? Yes, you read that right! If you’re the proud parent of a precious pooch then we want to see you and your fur baby at AZ Foothills annual Dog Days of Summer cutest dog contest Yappy Hour. One handsome hound will take home the title of Top Dog and win $500 cash, a feature in Arizona Foothills Magazine, and mutt-ch more. Here’s how the contest works…

Round 1: Casting Calls.

Get ready for some pawesome fun and enter your pup into the competition at our Yappy Hour on Friday August 11 from 5:30p – 7:30p at Two Brothers Tap House & Brewery – 4321 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. Stop by Two Brothers dog friendly patio anytime during the two hour event to sign your buddy up. We will snap a “headshot” of them while you enjoy extended happy hour specials on food and beverage including 50% off appetizers and $1 off beers and cocktails. The event will also feature some sweet giveaways and doggie goodies. At the casting call pups will be entered into one of three contest categories.

Best Large Dog – There’s more to love with a big baby! If your mutt is too big to hold, enter them in this category to win AZ Foothills “Large Dog of the Year.”

Best Small Dog – If your nugget can fit in your handbag or is small enough to carry, enter them in this category to win AZ Foothills “Small Dog of the Year.”

Best Dressed Dog – Is your fur baby a fashionista? Show off their best outfit and enter them in this category to win AZFoothills.com “Best Dressed Dog.” Just make sure they come to the casting call dressed to impress.

Dogs who enter at the casting call will get a paw up on the competition by starting the contest with an automatic bonus of 100 votes!
